The following modifications are available at the time of purchase at the costs indicated. There is the possibility of as much as a 2 week delay in shipping to allow time to accomplish the modifications.
All Jacks 'R' Better quilts are over stuffed by at least 15%. We don't recommend additional over stuffing. Recognize that over-stuffing increases the loft between each of the baffles effectively shortening the quilt by as much as 6-8 inches. However, if you believe you need more down, over stuffing is available in 1 ounce increments up to two ounces for 3 season and winter quilts. We will only over-stuff summer weight quilts with 1 additional ounce. If you think you need more over-stuff you should be considering purchasing the next warmer quilt model.
The Sewn In Foot Box modifications eliminates the omni-tape, draw cord, and cordlocks used to create the footbox (approximately 0.6 oz.) by permanently sewing the foot box across the bottom and 18 inches up the sides of the quilt.

Family Of Large Quilts Draft Stopper Modification
This modification only applies to the Family of Large Quilt, the Springer, the Mt Rogers, and the Katahdin. The Draft Stopper modification applies a 43" strip of omni-tape across the top edge of the quilt enabling the attachment of the JRB Hood. The hood can be used to create a mummy bag style sleeping bag for one or when using the quilt as a two person quilt the hood serves as a draft stopper between the sleepers.
Seam sealing is not difficult but does involve time and space for curing. Neatness does not count.
Non A-Symmetric Hennessy Hammock Modification
The older non-asymmetric models of the Hennessy require a simple modification to the Nest to add side ladder loops at the center points of the quilt sides.
This kit consists of 24 inches of omni-tape and instructions to modify any stand-up collar found on quarter, half, and full zip jackets or vests so that they will accept attachment of a Jacks 'R' Better Down Hood.
