Description:  JRB Wearable Quilts are nominally 78" x 48".  Except for the Stealth which is all black, the shell is two color, 1.1 ounce rip-stop nylon with DWR treatment.  Now made fully reversible, they have a light color on one side for reflective qualities and a black side for warmth retention and to facilitate field drying.  The baffles are made of no-see-um netting and the quilts are stuffed with 800+ fill power down.  The design includes: a re-sealable head hole so the quilt can be worn as a poncho/serape on cool mornings and evenings in camp; omni-tape hook and loop and draw string to form a foot sack; and all the standard JRB attachment loops allowing it to be used as an under quilt (attachment instructions) with the standard JRB Suspension System (sold separately).  A draw string in the head end enables formation of shoulder pockets and elimination of drafts.  When used on the ground, a popular modification is the Full Length Omni-Tape that enables the use of either the Down to Earth Pad Converter to create a full bag or the Quilt Wings to provide extra material on the sides for a better tuck.  For individuals over 5 feet 10 inches tall we offer extra long versions (86" x 48").  They retain all the characteristics and capabilities of the basic quilts with an additional 8 inches in length and a 4 inch longer foot box.

Stealth

Description:  Designed for use in moderate temperatures, the all black "Stealth" Universal Quilt can be used either as a top quilt (in a hammock or on the ground) or as a hammock under quilt. This sew through, down quilt alternative to our standard baffled, down quilts is ideal for use when temperatures are not expected to be below 40-45°. Its sew through design simplifies the manufacturing process (thereby reducing the cost) and reduces weight.
