Description:  Designed for three season comfort as an under quilt (attachment instructions) for the Bear Mountain Bridge Hammock, the "Hudson River" quilt can be used either as a hammock under quilt or as a top quilt (in a hammock or on the ground).  Design includes omni-tape hook and loop and draw string to form a foot sack and all the standard JRB attachment loops allowing it to be used as an under quilt with the standard JRB Suspension System (sold separately).  A draw string in the head end enables formation of shoulder pockets and elimination of drafts.  When used on the ground, a popular modification is the Full Length Omni-Tape that enables the use of either the Down to Earth Pad Converter to create a full bag or the Quilt Wings to provide extra material on the sides for a better tuck.  The "Hudson River" quilt comes with a 1.2 oz. JRB compression sack that allows it to be stuffed to 7”x7”x8”.

The "Hudson River" is nominally a 78” x 48” x 2.5”, 20 ounce, down quilt.  The Hudson River is a three season quilt, baffled to 1.9 inches and over stuffed to achieve 2.5 inches of loft.  The shell is two color, 1.1 ounce rip-stop nylon with DWR treatment.  It has a light outer color for reflective qualities and a black inside for warmth retention and to facilitate field drying.  The baffles are made of no-see-um netting and the quilt is stuffed with 800+ fill power down.

The Hudson River (Long)

Description:  For individuals over 5 feet 10 inches tall we offer an extra long version (86" x 48" x 2.5") of the Hudson River specifically for use as a top quilt.  The Hudson River (Long) retains all the characteristics and capabilities of the basic Hudson with an additional 8 inches in length and a 4 inch longer foot box.  Weight is approximately 22 oz.  The Hudson River (Long) comes with a 1.2 oz. JRB silnyl compression sack that allows it to be stuffed to 7”x7”x9”.
